Han Tao

Main experience:

From 2004 to 2015, he served as Chief Engineer, Deputy Director, Director, Deputy Chief Planner, Deputy General Manager in Nanjing Bolai Urban Planning & Design Institute Co., Ltd. 

From 2015 to 2017, he acted as Deputy General Manager of JSTI Group (Nanjing) Urban Planning & Design Institute Co., Ltd.

Main experience and awards

In 2004, he co-edited the "Protection and Renewal Plan for Nanjing Menxi Area", which won the Award of Nanjing Top Ten Quality Project;

From 2005 to 2006, he served in the Nanjing Urban Planning Bureau for one year. During this period, he co-edited the "Controlled Detailed Planning for the Old Town of Nanjing City", which won the second prize of the MOHURD and the first prize of Jiangsu Province; co-edited the "Integrated  Plan of Nanjing Jubaoshan Park", which won the third prize of Jiangsu Province;

In 2007, he participated in the China Urban Planning Association and organized academic exchanges with the GSD of Harvard University and the Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners; hosted the “Urban Design of the South Entrance of Chuzhou in Huai'an City”, which won the third prize of Jiangsu Province; presided over international public program competition for the “Conceptual Planning of Qianguan Community in Dalian Bay Subdistrict, Ganjingzi District, Dalian City” and won the first prize;

In 2008, he presided over the “Urban Design for Both Sides of Chuzhou Avenue in Huai'an City” and won the third prize of Jiangsu Province;

In 2009, he presided over the “Tourism Planning of the Xianghe Landscape Belt in Quanjiao” and won the third prize of Nanjing City;

In 2010, he presided over the “Protection and Development Plan for the Surrounding Area of Yuqiao Reservoir in Tianjin” and won the third prize of Nanjing City;

In 2011, he presided over the “Controlled Detailed Planning of the Yaohuamen District of Xianlin, Nanjing City” and won the third prize of Nanjing City; co-edited the “Study on the Strategic Planning of County Space Development in Tianjin County”, which won the second prize of Nanjing City; co-edited the "Three-year Action Plan for the Protection and Rejuvenation of Nanjing's Historical and Cultural Cities (2011-2013)" , which won the third prize of Nanjing City;

In 2012, he led the founding of Weibo City (seasonal magazine) and explored the development model of “planning design + cultural packaging”; co-edited the “Protection and Development Plan for Ancient Village of Yangliu Village in Nanjing”, which won the third prize of Nanjing City;

In 2013, he presided over the international public program competition of “Development Strategic and integrated Planning of Jianggang in Dongtai City” and won the first place;

In 2014, he led the production of customized magazine commissioned by “Misty rain on Gucheng Lake” to realize the business model of “planning design + cultural packaging”; presided over the international public program competition of “Overall Development Planning of Liuhe New Town in Nanjing City” and won the first place; co-edited the “Urban Design for the Core Startup Zone of Chengdong New District in Xiangshui County” and won the third prize of Nanjing City;

In 2015, he presided over the international public program competition for the “Overall Planning and Controlled Detailed Planning of Zhongliang Airport City in Tianshui City” and won the first place;

In 2016, he presided over the international public program competition for the “Overall Planning and Controlled Detailed Planning of Yongding Industrial Park in Longyan City” and won the first place;

In 2017, he presided over the international public program competition for the “Planning for Chongyang River Landscape Belt of Wuyi New District” and won the first place;
