邓琪

He graduated from Tongji University, majoring in Urban Planning in 1990 and graduated from the University of Stuttgart in Germany in 2000. From 1990 to 2015, he worked in the Beijing Municipal Institute of City Planning &Design (during the period from 2007 to 2015, he was the deputy chief planner of Beijing Homedale Institute of Urban Planning and Architectural Design under the institute). Experienced and participated three times in the preparation and revision of Beijing urban master plans.

He has a good knowledge unique professional skills and rich planning experience in the urban and rural planning at all levels and categories, and are unique in urban design, Regulatory Plan, historical and cultural famous towns and villages (traditional villages), historical district protection (and development and utilization) planning, township planning, and village planning.

Main Experiences:

He has participated in the preparation, exam questions and scoring work of the national registered planner exam textbooks. As an expert in the village and township department of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, he has participated in various national-level planning reviews and lectures. Entrusted by the construction committee tender office of Beijing Municipal Planning, he participated in the review and validation of the "Beijing New Rural Community Planning and Construction Guide Atlas" and the "Beijing Traditional Village Protection and Development Planning Design Guide" and other standards.

He has deep knowledge and research on rural areas and small towns. He has participated in the planning and research of new rural construction and went to the countryside. He is a system expert of the Beijing New Rural Planning Committee. He has presided over the planning of more than ten towns; presided over the planning and evaluation of Beijing villages; presided over Beijing's "Village Planning Standards", the planning and construction of village planning management research projects, the overall planning assessment of villages and new rural community planning special projects. As the main compiler, he participated in the preparation of the "National Village Planning Standards", "Guiding Opinions on Supporting Village Planning Pilot Work", and "National Pilot Village Planning Technical Guidelines"; as the main researcher participated in the Ministry of Construction soft science research project "Beijing Suburbs" Research on Planning and Renovation Planning Methods for Mountain Villages. Presided over the preparation of town and village planning won many awards.

He actively advocated the protection of historical villages in the suburbs of Beijing, and participated in the investigation of historical and cultural resources in the suburbs. He presided over the preparation of the protection plans for the nine historical cultures and villages in the suburbs of the Beijing Municipal Government for the three years of 2007-2009. In the suburban historical village planning and compilation content, he also organized and participated in the implementation of some historical villages, and summarized the implementation methods.
